trnaN : tRNA-AsnGUU

Modifications: [1]

• guanidine(34) → queuosine(34)

• adenosine(37) → N(6)-threonylcarbamoyladenosine(37)

Transfer RNA coding elements are organized in up to eleven loci in Staphylococcus aureus. Staphylococci encode up to three asparaginyl-tRNA sequences, all of which share the same GUU anticodon. This tRNA-AsnGUU2 is from Locus IV; other tRNA-Asn can be found elsewhere in Locus III (tRNA-AsnGUU1), and in Locus VII (tRNA-AsnGUU3). Please note that some additional modifications, such as pseudouridines (Ψ) are almost certainly present but not captured in the above cited reference.
